The 3DS 'family' of systems has had some terrific limited edition hardware, and we reckon this is another to add to the list. Tom has been involved in the games industry for over a decade, mostly writing about it or struggling to sell Indie games. Black I assume? Damn I don't need this but I'm not trying to troll here - as far as I can see it's a bland and uninspired 'special edition' even if you love Metroid. I'm a first time 3ds owner and just had to have one because of Metroid. Thank you! Overall, I could not be happier with this new one. I admit it took me a day or two of playing for my eyes to truly adjust but once they did it was really quite neat. Highest rated in this set of products.
