I shot this snow covered pair of Hondas on my 450 honda nighthawk to work. They are my daily reminder of my own introduction to the world of motorcycles. To give you a bit of history on these, this engine and basic layout first appeared in as the Honda CBT.

Only cosmetic changes were made in The Comstar wheels were replaced with a slightly different cast alloy wheel. The speedometer was upped to mph. Two Nighthawk models were produced in In , its last year of production, the changes were minor, including the fender which was changed from chrome to "body color".

Also look for a dual sport. Hmmmm…I wonder of the energizer bunny is Japanese? High mile bike 65k but ran perfectly. I made the mistake of buying an 80s nighthawk a few years ago. We have about the same bike. Plenty of BatBikes around. I took it through Canada to the north Maine woods, and across more than a dozen states in the northeast, Midwest and south. Does anyone have experience with the bolt at the bottom of the oil pipe leaking? It looks like a perfect first bike and is on my list. Even rode it once on a highway trip And the clutch cable broke the day I got it. There are late model equivalents of this bike in the size range. Here's a picture of mine.
