Yasemin BAKİ. This study, which is aimed at analysing the living universal l values transfer in secondary school Turkish textbooks, was formed by qualitative research methodology and designed by document review.

Turkey and Azerbaijan are two neighboring countries and also has a history, language and culture partnership. The primary objective of this study is to show how often the texts in secondary school textbooks of both countries reflect what values. Four Turkish textbooks and four Azerbaijani textbooks were determined for each grade level. Reading texts included in the textbooks were included in the study; visual elements, listening texts and poems were excluded from the study.
