Active OOSH is renowned in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions for providing engaging and fun activities for local families that is reliable and cost-effective. After completing a Bachelor of Teaching Primary , she too worked as a Classroom Teacher in a number of local schools. She has a Diploman in Childrens Services.

As Educators we understand the importance of our position. We are responsible for the health, well being and education of the children in our care. We aim to create, foster and facilitate beautiful play spaces where children can be themselves and we look for any opportunity for fun and to laugh with the children. To enrol your child in any of our services please fill out the enrolment form below. Please ensure you have filled out all of the information required, including attaching any medical diagnosis and action plan documentation. Is your child undertaking or have undergone assessment to support any particular developmental areas such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, Autism spectrum disorder? To deal with these circumstances and in case of an emergency the Service will inform the following person to collect and care for the child. This person must live a maximum of 30 minutes from the Service and must provide identification when collecting the child.

At Active OOSH, we believe that wellbeing and learning is best supported through a responsive and flexible routine; one that accommodates both the individual and group needs. We are committed to providing environments that are safe, stimulating and inclusive and that enhance learning through the provision of natural and man-made materials. Our experienced Educators model and teach children to respect the environment with a focus on sustainable practices such as recycling, gardening and conserving water and energy. Our Service Philosophy aims to serve and work in the spirit of the community, as we strive to advocate for and honour the precious time that is developing and nurturing our young children. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Awabakal People. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture while paying respect to knowledge holders and community members of the land. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future. We aim to provide a Service that is supportive, stimulating, caring and inclusive.
