With an all-new Primegreen mesh upper design, the Takumi Sen 9 is not only lighter than version 8 but is one of the lightest shoes in its category. The remodeled upper design increases breathability while the updated heel counter offers heightened levels of support for an even more secure lockdown. With a little old and a little new, the adidas adizero Takumi Sen 9 is one of the shoes to beat in the chase for 5K to 10K podiums. The Takumi Sen 8 was a triumph for adidas and was regarded by many runners as one of the best 5K to 10K road racing shoes, not to mention one of the best speed training shoes. This combination continues to be one of the most exciting on the market, and time and again, it has proven to be a tough one to beat on race day.
