I am still little bit of a newbie at AoE: II. Instead I suggest that the tech tree of all the civilizations should be available from the main menu or preferably from the menu where you pick your civilization before a multiplayer or single player match. That way I can explore the team bonuses and what units are available instead of entering the game blind. You can check the tech tree of any civ in the lobby. A list of all available civs will be disposable for you to check on. There should also be a button in the main menu and a button for the currently selected civ. I dont know if you all are single player gamers only.

The ingame text says that if i enable this i will be able to train all units in the game but playing as italians i could not train teutonic knights or cataphracts or any other unique unit other then aztec warrior in barrack and mameluke and elephant in stables … Am i doing something wrong? Some civs are sad with this option and some are good, for example maguadai frie slower, longbows have 3 less range and persians get heresy thou their elephants are slower.
