The white marble Legendary Chest puzzle is located in the room after the battle with the light Elves, when Tyr said he would handle it, but Kratos and Atreus ended up fighting them anyway. Nornir Chests can reward one of two items: Idunn Apples which increase your health meter or Horns of Blood Mead which increase your rage meter. The game alternates which one it gives you based on the previous Nornir Chest you opened. This makes posting guides — and screenshots — a bit tricky. Once you find the Nornir Chest, all you need to do is look around for the nearby Totems. They are always relatively close by. Our only real tip for these is to look behind objects like waterfalls and geysers which you can freeze with your axe. Santa Monica Studio loves to hide these Totems behind things. Switch Nornir Chests are the second easiest to deal with and just require a bit of memorization. Look at your Nornir Chest and remember the Rune symbols you see. You can also take a quick screenshot on the PS5 and pull it up via the screenshot tool as a super quick reference if you forget!

Standing in the doorway facing the way forward, you should see a ledge just ahead that you can drop down. Do so, head left, then destroy the debris blocking the way, then kill the two Wretches who show up. In the room beyond the doorway will be the Legendary Chest, sitting next to an Artifact. This chest can be found in a side-area just after Tyr jumps across some hanging panels to give you a way to cross a gap. At the bottom, turn right to find a fork guarded by four Wretches: make a U-turn to the left to drop down another ledge. Kill the two Wretches here, then open the Legendary Chest.

Kill the light elves and then use your key to open the gigantic door. Open it for the Hardened War Handles pommels. Burn the bramble and set it free. Shoot the fire with your hex arrows to light the brazier. When you pass under a root node, turn around and look back the way you came. Kill all the enemies here and claim the chest behind them to complete this Remnant of Asgard. Climb back up to where you were before you dropped down for the Nornir Chest. Follow the shore to the left. Head back to where you fought the tatzelwurm. Hop over the barricade toward the statue and look up. The R Rune is visible just to the left of the chest, while the C Rune is on a tiny balcony up the wall further to the left. Throw your ax at the purple crystal and bounce the ax into the two nearby bulbs. Make your way to the cave in The Barrens, which is in the bottom-right part of the map. At the safe spot, turn right to spot a Twilight Stone hanging into view.

It is the first main realm other than Midgard that you can explore in the game, and part of your main Journey.

Wait out her wing-based attacks. Open the legendary chest you free to find an Amulet of Kvasir talisman — one of our favorites in the game. Throw your axe down that passage and leave it stuck in the wall behind the root node you see there. The goal is to swing the Twilight Stone with the Blades so that you can get the right angle and throw the Axe at it and break the Light Crystal. Climb up to the exit and then turn around. Once there, the normal way is to grapple over to Tyr; instead, look left to see another plate to grapple to. This is a bell chest, which requires you to make sure all three bells are ringing at once to unlock the seals. Follow the instructions and use your Leviathan Axe to open the door. Open the gold and glowing Legendary Chest to get the Gauntlets of Radiance gloves.
