Like any hero or stage performer, All Might must work hard to hide the harsh realities and difficulties of doing what he does, and he can't allow anyone to see anything underneath that dazzling exterior of his. But, as protagonist Izuku Midoriya soon learned , there are many costs, burdens, and problems with being All Might.

In his empowered form, Toshinori is a massive man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique, his design resembling a typical Western comic book superhero. He has chiseled features on his face with a strong jawline, pronounced cheekbones, and bushy eyebrows. He has short blond hair, swept backward, with two distinct tufts sticking above his head, leaning slightly to each side. His robust features regularly cast a dark shadow over his face, hiding everything but his bright blue eyes. Toshinori's Golden Age hero costume consisted of a skin-tight blue bodysuit decorated with a red symbol that somewhat resembles a "Y", designed with a white diamond at its center, with white lines connected to it that trace from his chest to his back shoulders; the lines trimmed with the aforementioned red symbol. The symbol appeared to have wings on the side that ran from atop his torso before ending around his back, over which a similar red and white design was absent of the white diamond. Large white patches lined with red covered each side of his hips before ending at his lower thighs, and he wore a gold belt with a silver buckle with red eyes. His forearm sleeves were colored in gold; each had white lines covered in blue accents over his wrists, spiked fins on the sides of his arms, and his feet were covered in shin-length gold boots trimmed with white and red accents.

Of course, the man is helping save the world from afar these days after losing his power, and one fan felt it was time to reimagine his normal form. If you watch the series, then you know All Might is living life in his non-quirk state, and that means he is rather frail these days. Though he was hearty as a young man, All Might is emaciated as an adult, and he has massive shadows covering his eyes. As you can see above, the My Hero Academia artwork doesn't make All Might any bulkier, but it does fatten up his sunken features. His cheeks are not quite as sallow, and his hooded eyes aren't pitch black. Instead, All Might's wide eyes can be seen, and he is even given eyebrows.

All this is necessary to defeat evil, but that doesn't mean All Might likes it. For many years, All Might was the star of the show, and everyone in Japan looked up to him as their savior and guardian of peace. Notably, All Might is the only pro hero and only My Hero Academia character overall known to do anything like this.
