The world of The Walking Dead is dotted with various communities, with thousands of people living there. The Walking Dead follows the survivors of the zombie apocalypse as they go from community to community trying to find safety. Each location offers different levels of protection and the leaders of each range from those just trying to survive to despotic leaders who hold on to their power using fear and violence.

Part of their philosophy was that humanity needed to get back to its more animalistic roots. It was a brilliant yet terrifying idea, and one that viewers likely expect would happen somewhere should a real apocalypse hit. However, being comfortable and safe isn't always the best thing for people in an apocalypse. Survivors couldn't really sneak up on the place and if they did, they'd have large walls and guards with weapons made at its blacksmith shop to contend with. Oceanside was the little community that could AMC. They serve as the primary antagonists of the episode "Here's Negan". Let's face it, the early days of the zombie apocalypse on The Walking Dead were chaos. Eugene's Group is a group of survivors formed by Eugene Porter for his mission to find "Stephanie". But they were also fairly smart, able to set traps to capture people in a way that proved they still had some wits about them.
