Alto k10 in hills

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been given legendary status in the hills. The Alto has a very punchy engine coupled with short gearing and being a featherweight, there is nothing which the Alto can't climb over.

Yes, it's power ful and small. Lesser turning radius helps it climb up and down with ease. Keep your tyres in check and you will enjoy driving it on hills. On a steep hill, the car can roll back as much as 3 feet before moving forward. Great package. Excellent review.

Detail Review:. We bought Maruti Alto K10 in the month of October so it's over an year now. I would like to share my one year experience with the car. As we have already booked the car in advance we called the sales officer to get the car ready at around 2 pm due to some emergency and they were considerate to get the car ready by evening. Me and my father traveled overnight and reached our designation at next morning. And since then I have complete trust on this car. While traveling through treacherous mountains from Mandi to Reckong Peo in Kinnaur this car didn't for one second made me underconfident.

Timely services will keep a motor efficient and in top shape. The official title given by the manufacturer in terms of the name of the engine, the displacement and the number of cylinders. A bigger displacement and more than four-cylinders generally indicate a performance-oriented engine. Gives a good idea of the performance of the vehicle under full thrust. A higher figure here usually means a higher top speed as well. Higher the power, the peppier the engine but it can also affect fuel economy. Relates to in-gear acceleration. A higher figure here means better roll-on acceleration, fewer gear shifts, and possibly better fuel efficiency. The more torque at low RPM range makes the engine feel more responsive.

This car goes a long way on a tank, and it's impressive in how well it performs. Overall, it's a great quality car that you'll want to have. The car is good the new model looks pretty it does not look like a very small car though it is small the comfort is not that good but the functionality is amazing. The best car within my budget, offering good mileage, top-notch features, an awesome color, robust safety features, and excellent services. Good CarIt's exceptionally smooth for new drivers and fits well within budget constraints. The feature I appreciate the most is the top variant. I believe that Alto could further enhance its appeal by incorporating rear power windows. Alto k10 is a good spacious car under budget with good mileage. The design is decent. The legroom and headroom is also good and much better than Alto

Maruti tried to buck the trend by bringing in the 'SUV-inspired' S-Presso and even discontinued the K10 variant of the Alto for a full two years in favour of the former. When the rpms drop, the transmission will downshift to a lower gear. The engine must be started with the gear lever in neutral. Read on. There's no doubt that it is more talented than a below-average driver in choosing when to shift, how to shift and what gear to drive in. Even the wheelbase, at 2, mm, is longer by 20 mm. Just release the brake, and the car crawls forward. VVT variable valve timing adjusts the valve timing to increase fuel efficiency and in a 'dual' VVT system, both intake and exhaust valves are adjusted to maximise fuel efficiency and performance. So to see that at least some of it's looks have carried forward to this car is a fun surprise. Mahindra also added a Mechanical-Locking differential at the rear which makes sure the Bolero Neo gets out of tricky situations easily. Release the light clutch and the Alto K10 rolls off from a standstill with ease. With the higher price ticket, I'd have expected slightly better plastic quality to be honest. Edit: what's with the fad of putting up huge seemingly ugly grills in the front reference thread. Ground Clearance The official ground clearance figure of the Alto K10 has not been revealed. We expected terrible sound quality but were pleasantly surprised, especially considering this is a budget car. Needless to say, it has no compartments, ventilation or illumination.
