Amnesia: the bunker monster
Frictional Games introduced another installment to the Amnesia series but with a more menacing setting. Amnesia: The Bunker plunges players, who dare to play it, into a claustrophobia-inducing environment set during World War 1. It gets increasingly terrifying as one progresses through the game as a soldier who's trapped inside a bunker with a horrifying monster stalking their every move. Normally in the Amnesia series , developers offer two options for survival, run or hide. However, Amnesia: The Bunker features a soldier as the protagonist, which makes him skilled in the arts of combat. However, the monster which keeps chasing players throughout the game seems unaffected in the long term by shotgun shells or even Molotov cocktails. This makes players question whether or not it is possible to get rid of the monster for good. Throughout most of one's playthrough of Amnesia: The Bunker, firepower does not seem to affect the monster at all. However, the monster, often referred to as the "Beast", can be slayed during the endgame periods. Hence, trying to kill the beast using weapons or throwables is only effective for temporary periods as it forces the beast to hide in one of the many crawlspaces in the game. It is certain to come back to stalk players once it has recovered from the damage it suffered during the last altercation with the player. Hence, it would be smart to conserve ammo and throwables and use them when one deems it absolutely necessary. As no amount of firepower seems to be effective on the beast, players are expected to devise another plan which involves gravity.
However, this requires fuel and Molotov cocktails to trap the beast in the middle of the bridge and force it to remain standing helplessly.
The Beast, also known as the Stalker , [1] is the main antagonist and the primary enemy of Amnesia: The Bunker. Unlike previous games, Henri can arm himself and fight back against the Beast, which may frighten it away for a while. However, due to his resistance to conventional weapons, the Beast cannot be killed for most of the game, making fighting it purely an act of last resort. The Beast is a Harvester more commonly known as Ghouls , and like its brethren is characterized by its sadistic nature, massive size, and a profound aversion to light. It exhibits a strong negative reaction to sound, becoming alerted and agitated when auditory stimuli are present. Despite its considerable bulk, the Beast exhibits remarkable agility and speed.

Additionally, the creature displays a unique capability to burrow underground effortlessly, enabling it to traverse through various openings in walls and gain access to the main areas of the French bunker. The Beast's sensitivity to light is a key feature of its behavior.

While not fool-roof, it will keep the beast distracted somewhere else for a good while, unless you make loud noises. Although one of them is an absolute requirement, it would make it way simpler for players. Walking through an active hole or standing next may result in the Monster snatching you into the hole, killing you instantly. Amnesia: The Bunker puts a refreshing spin on the Amnesia series by putting us in the boots of a French soldier stuck in a vast bunker during the Great War. Escape seemed to me like an easy prospect after the game told me that I needed only to blow open my way to liberty if only I hadn't heard the scratching in the walls soon after I read that note.
It seems to come out of nowhere, but it did arrive there by the most unsuspecting means. This is also true for the beast, as it needs to jump and grab the ledge for climbing up, and that is when players should shoot it. The Beast, despite many similarities, as several physical differences from other Harvesters, which are possibly due to the abundance of Vitae it has acquired or the rapid regeneration that occurred as it battled the bunker's garrisons, although this is educated speculation at best. Fortunately, you can use the surrounding equipment, such as crates, chairs, or other furniture items, to block the holes from where the monster crawls out. When the Beast fails to locate the player, it will emit a loud, piercing shriek before retreating into a nearby hole. I'll name them two types of noises; Quiet and Loud. One can still traverse through the bridge by sprint jumping and catching the ledge to climb up. In either case, the Monster emerging does not mean they are fully aware of your presence just yet. The Beast does have a role to play in the finale of the game. This makes players question whether or not it is possible to get rid of the monster for good.
