Anastasia Hotel Stalis. This is the 4th time we have stayed at The Anastasia and it still has that special something that makes you want to return. Stopped here for 10 days. This is our 3rd time staying at The Anastasia and unfortunately we found out when we arrived it was under new management and standards have fallen well below average. Our previous stays had some form of entertainment every night but this is now not the case. Bingo and karaoke is your lot on a Friday. One of the guests Tennessee Jack put on a night of entertainment off his own bat which many of the guests enjoyed. Unfortunately the food has gone way down in quality and is mass produced. The salad bar if you can describe it as that was so lacking in any form of decent produce. Come on this is Crete, it oozes quality, unfortunately not here. We had booked breakfast and evening meal for our duration but spent the majority of the time skipping breakfast and eating out at night to get good quality. The one morning we did decide to have breakfast the staff member cleaning tables was very loud and angry because he felt he was doing all the work on his own, another member of staff asked him to calm down but to no avail. Just what you want to witness first thing in the morning.
