So I'm trying to go after a low level rock elemental as a test with my rpg launcher, but I'm not entirely sure how many shots or whatever the things will even take. Anyone have some tips on the elemental tames? You can knock out a titanosaur with rockets, pretty sure rock elemental too. Being completely honest. It was a useful mount but now because of all the whiners it and the dragon are not really useful anymore. Dragons are the hardest creature in the game to tame by far yet it have been nerfed to oblivion. Also to tame a lvl 1 rock elemental is about 30 rpg shots to the head and ur more likly to kill it then tame it, cannons are the way to go with about headshots for a lvl 1. But be warned rock elementals damage is almost nothing and it's hp is minimal other then tanking normal dinos and mining stone it's got no purpose anymore. Same with dragons now they are only good for pve and traveling long distances in short times. Due to inability to damage structures, Planet wide turning, Inability to slowdown, Low hp and the hardest taming known to man that made taming a lvl giga feel baby easy. Poision never damaged structures to begin with and fire only damages up to wood. Only good method i found was storing in the dragon with salts.

The Colossus Petram is a large stone creature from an unknown time period that feeds on minerals and has an extremely territorial temperament. Unlike most creatures that have been found in the Ark, the Rock Elemental, also known as a Rock Golem remains a mystery to most but is said to cause destruction when survivors come across it. Rock Elementals are usually hidden from plain sight, disguised as rocks while waiting for anything that invades its territory which it soon begins to attack. In the event that a tribe is capable of taming a Rock Elemental, they may use it in sieges due to its ability to withstand damage and crush enemies with ease. The Rock Elemental rips a boulder from under it and tosses it in a direction, damaging enemies that it collides with before shattering. This ability can be used by the Rock Elemental if it is set to turret mode.

Im level 96 with meele damage, so i am not sure how to do more dam to the golem. Although extremely risky, the Rocket Launcher can be utilized as a early way of taming Rock Elementals. If you say "raise it with meat" that little bug was removed now it's only milk unless you got raising speed set to x15 or higher. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.
