And of course…The theme song!! Although it did have some errors in it, so I typed my own lyrics out. That I got by typing out what was said when I listened to the song. About three times, so as not to mess it up.. And so, Imma post the lyrics for the theme song. Which, now that I listen to the song, is suuuper motivational, and perfectly perfect for raising kids. Every day when your walking down the street, And everybody that you meet Has an original point of view. And I say Hey- Hey! What a wonderful kind of day If we could learn to work and play, And get along with each other. You gotta listen to your heart, Listen to the beat, Listen to the rhythm, The rhythm of the street.
This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers not spiritual, but political, economic, etc.

I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. BTW, the line about "when you get caught between the moon and New York City" was originally written by Peter Allen when his plane was stuck in a holding pattern above New York. Lyric Correction I have seen the second verse written two ways, and neither of them is the version above. General Comment This is a really good song.
