Thanks, Dave. The built-in FS ATC gives you vectors which depend on the angle you are approaching your chosen runway from. This only varies with the flight plan, so if you always fly that approach you'll always get the same vectors, which will be a zig-zag path across your flightplan's direct path. The last time I accepted vectors was a good 10 years ago. When offered vectors say no you would like to fly an approach.

I like PFE better because it has far more regional voice sets for the controllers and AI pilots than does RC, which increases the realism and immersion factors for me, and works seamlessly with their other "must have" IMHO software, Flight Deck Companion. However, I used Radar Contact for quite a long time though, and there are many here who will argue with me that it is superior. With either one, I don't feel you can lose.
