Audi a3 navigation not enabled

Thread Tools. Recent buyer of a '15 Audi A3 that I'm working on and realized that when I push the Nav button, it tells me that Nav isnt installed. How does one go about doing this? Am in no rush as I have nav from my Google Pixel but was hoping to get audi a3 navigation not enabled installed.

Hi, sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere. I cans ee other topics sat nav related but i need advice on something more specific. I am picking up my A3 in a couple of days and need to activate the sat nav. I understand I need an sd card initially so would appreciate if someone could give me a link to get the correct one as there are a few different ones on eBay. Secondly do I have to go to Audi to get it activated? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Hi David, Mark is right on this one.

The Multimedia unit, in the glovebox, does have 2 slots, horizontal, about an inch long each, marked 'SD1' and SD2'. Is there a way to delete or reset this message, rather than replacing the bulbs with the originals? The SD slots are to put SD cards with pre-recorded music on - nothing to do directly with the satnav but they are used for satnav updates. There are some really dodgy ones around especially fitted to an old Vauxhall van that drives the other way to me most days - my retina knows about it! Re the satnav I think your model needs a suitable SD card. Probably the correct source is the dealer but eBay might be of use here. Well after paying for it that is!! If it does have satnav I I would be cautious about spending much money to activate it. I have used several over the years, stand-alone and inbuilt and the VW is by far the worst. Ironically the car is a Nav model. The menu settings are correct but it still recommends daft long routes. Oddly these are usually in one direction only. Hello folks, I have the following problem with my Audi A3 navigation device, it shows 'The navigation data are not enabled'. The installation took place without errors. Then I have the M. Patch is activatet. But unfortunately it still doesn't work. I have to add that my navigation device was already activated when I bought the vehicle and has worked for a number of years. Attached is the log file.

And be reminded; 3GHigh and 3GPlus have different activators They should have just made a chip for it I am not sure when this was introduced into the A3 model range. I have ECS off and screen down.
