Austin Forkner aka: Farm Boy started racing motocross in at the ripe old age of five. Austin continued racing in his home state until when he entered his first amateur national event at Ponca City where he finished top 10 in both 50cc classes. In Austin set his sights on the pro ranks and made a plan on how he would transition to professional racing. He finished out his amateur career at the Loretta Lynn National Championships in August of with 2 victories, bringing his total to 6, and started working on his pro program. In September in his first pro race he finished 4th behind 3 seasoned veterans of the sport. In January he raced 2 Arenacross races winning the second one in Greensboro.

Austin Forkner is out for the remainder of the Monster Energy Supercross season after suffering an injury in a crash at Angel Stadium in the first round of the SuperMotocross World Championship.
