Only four of the 12 acts who performed for a national television audience Tuesday night would reach the semifinal stage. The three Lubbock girls, who became "very best friends" during their five months spent competing, held hands while awaiting the verdict. And really, aside from Team iLuminate moving on, there were few if any sure things because voting by judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan did not factor into who moved on.
