While almost all of the characters are obstacles to challenge or get away from, Baldi is the only hostile character who possesses the ability to end the game by catching baldis basics character player themselves in the whole series.
He looks like a low-resolution, crappily-made human CGI model with some wireframe around. When he notices you, he'll around and face you, then accelerate forward. He can push anyone - including you, and not including Gotta Sweep and It's a Bully - down the corridor. This runs a huge risk of slamming you into Playtime or Baldi. You can stop this acceleration if you escape him when he stops at corners or by using the Safety Scissors item. Safety Scissors disables 1st Prize for 15 seconds; however, if the Principal sees you doing this, he'll put you in detention.
Baldis basics character
Introduced in the Baldimore comics Baldi The owner of the schoolhouse yet not the principal and a teacher there. The main, titular antagonist. Abnormal Limb Rotation Range : He dislocates his elbow while waving at the player. Affably Evil : Implied in the Kickstarter demo. He says he's playing hide-and-seek with you, and as you just grab the notebooks instead of solving math problems, you can't make him angry. Also, his face appears in icons on the bottom right showing when he hears you, knows where you are, doesn't know where you are, etc. His expressions hardly look malicious, and more like he's genuinely having fun. This is certainly different from the original game, where he was more Faux Affably Evil. Likewise in Baldi's Basics Plus , which adds back solving math problems in the form of Baldi's Math Machine, but remains the hide and seek game from before. After beating the Brutal Bonus Level in Classic Remastered , Baldi replaces Null in every secret ending, and is happy to see the player every time for different reasons. In the Classic Style, he helps the player understand negative numbers in a subtraction problem, in the Party Style, he lets the player listen to a song he composed, and in the Demo Style, he gets the player to help him test out his Shrink Machine, not even getting mad at them when it malfunctions. Beating Plus will transport you into his office, where he sings a song congratulating you on your success. And then you get jumpscared by the whole thing glitching out like crazy, but it's obvious that's not deliberate on his part.
He's not the main villain or even one of the bigger threats, he's just the school janitor. This runs a huge risk of slamming you into Playtime or Baldi.

Characters are the NPCs and the player character in the Baldi's Basics series, which can be students, school faculty, and other entities in the Schoolhouse or Super Schoolhouse alike. While almost all of the characters are obstacles to challenge or get away from, Baldi is the only hostile character who possesses the ability to end the game by catching the player themselves in the whole series. All of the non-player characters are designed as 2D sprites, similar to the items and environment objects. For the game's weird bizarre purpose, the characters lack stylistic unity. The characters' sprites are scanned with CGI models , flash animation or 2D drawings, and realistic photography. To fit the game's nostalgia themes, most of them are edited with a dithering effect and a lot of size reduction.
Baldis basics character
Baldi is the main character of the Baldi's Basics series, as well as the main antagonist. He is the head teacher of both the Schoolhouse and the Super Schoolhouse , giving the player math problems to solve on the You Can Think Pad , Baldi's Math Machine , or the camping field trip before they can collect notebooks or get items. As the game series is not what it first seems, a twist reveals a more sinister side to Baldi's personality when the player makes their first mistake. Baldi is a poorly-modeled CGI character with a humanoid appearance. He has a light complexion, long, skinny fingers, red lips, and a copper strand of hair on his head. He wears a long-sleeved green shirt, blue jeans, and light brown shoes. His left elbow is blue in Baldi's Basics Plus , but gray in Baldi's Basics Classic , possibly due to a texturing mistake. Although he has no visible ears, his poster mentions that he has an excellent sense of hearing. Baldi's facial expression while chasing the player is neutral and not one of anger, even though it is heavily compressed and distorted. This is most likely due to dithering, a technique used to reduce the number of colors in an image.
Death by a thousand cuts chords
He can also be encountered in Remastered as well, having a much larger role to play in the game's secret endings. In Plus , he also speaks again when the player reaches the next floor of the schoolhouse when they solve a problem on his Math Machine, or when he touches the player while An Apple for Baldi is in their inventory. Some kid drew this face and next thing you know it's floating around, laughing and making mischief. After beating the Brutal Bonus Level in Classic Remastered , Baldi replaces Null in every secret ending, and is happy to see the player every time for different reasons. Baldi: Congratulations! Turns Red : When angry, his voice becomes even more distorted than before and his model is lit as if he's under a sunset. From the first problem you get wrong in any of the notebooks, he will begin to chase you down. If in years, then he rivals Baldi in age, who is Beans himself is voiced by the former. He also leaves them alone after hammering them. Or maybe because he's a cut-out model of a man, rendered in low-pixel.
Introduced in the Baldimore comics Baldi The owner of the schoolhouse yet not the principal and a teacher there. The main, titular antagonist. Abnormal Limb Rotation Range : He dislocates his elbow while waving at the player.
Dean Bitterman : He seems to have shades of this, as he will send you to detention if he sees you breaking a rule for 0. Her design consists of nothing more than a head on a single high heel shoe. Null is a mysterious character who appears completely different out of all characters in the game. Cuddle Bug : According to his profile, he's only seeking the player to offer hugs. Introduced in the Field Trip demo Cloudy Copter. Once you collect the 7th notebook note The exact number of notebooks varies depending on the floor in Plus , however, he'll actively chase the player down, teleporting the player and Baldi to the entrance if caught. Also take note that 1st Prize has very slow rotation speed: 6 seconds to make a quarter-turn such as at corners , so he can be easy to escape once you and he are mashed into a wall. There's no other way to make the Bully move; BSoda doesn't affect him, nor does the Gotta Sweep enemy. However, he can also hinder Baldi and other annoying characters if you manage to get Beans to hit them. A cloud who loves being a cloud doing cloudy things. At this point, if he sees you in a line of sight, he'll rush at you and teleport you and Baldi to the start of the map. No matter how many questions you answer correctly, he will never stop chasing you for the one still unsolvable question in the second notebook.
