There, she meets the other fairy apprentices, chosen to learn the annual Flight of Spring and magically create the first rainbow of the season. But when the evil Laverna tries to stop the Flight, threatening to plunge Fairytopia into ten years of bitter winter, Elina and her new friends must learn that "together we are strong". But are they strong enough to defeat Laverna and bring the rainbow to life? And will Bibble, who has a loose tooth, fall in love with adorable puffball Dizzle?

The Animation: Lots and lots and lots of character designs. Like the previous two movies in the trilogy the designs are horribly inconsistent to the point where some things just look cursed. The one fairy whose wings were her braids kind of freaked me out tbh. Outside of that, I liked the creativity in the different apprentices designs, it expanded upon the lore very seamlessly. The production quality has obviously increased as the years have passed. The scenery is fuller and more pleasant to look at. The end result was weird in a sort of charming way. The Plot: It was If anything it was kind of weak. It would have been interesting to see how Elina coped with being rejected by her peers again, even after having gotten wings. There could be some great depth added to her character if we could see her come to understand that insecure people can be really bitter towards others. This would have been double compounded if the first installment of the series had instead had Elina in this position when she was without wings. If she had been bitter there, it could have turned this rejection into a mirror and helped her to realize the kind of person she was. Instead we get formless conflict-because-we-need-conflict filled with tropes and unlikable characters. That being said, the tension in the climax was fantastic.
