Certified Master Gardners Karen Colwick and Teri Marceau will be providing education information on Rainwater Harvesting folllowed by a class on how to build your own rain barrel to take home after the event. Certified Master Gardners Jan George and Carol Morisette will be conducting a demonstration on planting, propagating and growing succulents to conserve water. Certified Master Gardners Barbara Ishikawa and Wayne Schirner will be presenting educational classes on how to use Native Plants in your landscape to save water and what to do now in your spring vegetable garden. Certified Master Gardeners Carol Morisette and Jan Upchurch will discuss types of roses, when to plant and prune, how to propagate and perform maintenance. They will also provide important information on Rose Rosette disease. She will provide information on chill hours, planting times container versus bare root trees and tree maintenance. There will be plenty of free horticultural information and locally gathered seeds. Hands-on demonstrations will be available throughout the day on Saturday. They will teach you how to use and incorporate fresh and dried edible flowers and herbs from your own garden into your new favorite drinks, salads, entrees and desserts. Our monthly seminars are open to the Community!
