We are a family group of 5 adults and 2 children age 12,16 coming to Benidorm for my mums 70th birthday in July. We are staying for 3 nights, benidorm forum tripadvisor. Have been looking at hotels or apartments and going round in circles.

We have more newsletters. The sun is shining, travel is back and Brits are flocking to Benidorm already. Loaded with hotels, bars and beaches, it's long been a tourist favourite. It's even that popular with us Brits that we made a whole TV show about it. Thanks to tourists, the sunny Spanish spot has quite a reputation for itself as a mini Britain by the sea. With fish and chip shops, cheap beer and British telly on in many of the pubs, it's became a real home-from-home for many, but some are less than impressed. We've scoured through Tripadvisor reviews of hotels, beaches, bars and more to find the funniest ones from some unhappy visitors.

Just got back from a weekend in Benidorm , as it was the first time I had been I spent a bit of time reading the forums, thought, surely it can't be as good as they say! Well it was and I can't wait to go again! Welcome to the Benidorm junkies club Benidorm Anonymous meeting I'm the same Magpie. Went for first time last October and going again this weekend. Was hoping to go again in July, but think it will now be October again before we make it back. I love the place. Glad to hear you had a fab time. Glad you had a good time, we went for the first time in and i was very anti, how wrong was i now wont go anywhere else just love the place, something for everyone and now say to the knockers dont slate it till youve been. Roll on june cant wait. I never ever fancied going to Benidorm until 2 yrs ago and i have been 9 times since and going back in Sept as other posters say ''don't knock it till you try it''. Have you never had a cold or flu, why do you think this may have been caused by visiting Benidorm. Lots of strange coughs in the UK. So who knows where you picked it up? On holiday, on the plane the day after you came back? You will never know. Actually happens quite a lot. People close together plane , bars. Happened to us one time, bugs about, alot of people in crowded places, aircon in plane etc, hope your all fine. It has happened to me lots of time after flying not anymore, I stopped getting colds 4 years ago..

I also hope this is allowed, I am posting this on behalf of my friend who has just returned and she is not on TA. This is her post on Benidorm Guide. I just want to put a warning up to people attending some of the strip shows. I was pulled up on stage for this show. But I ended up being held in my chair by his female assistant by my shoulders. He pulled up my top and pulled down my bra for everyone to see. And sucked on my breast. It is all a blur but I have watched a video back and I am repeatedly telling him no and pushed him away. I am visibly upset in the video and I walked out midshow, only to be jeered at by the dj doing the commentary.
