Running through my mind were endless questions — how do they work? What is an air tent?! How do you decided if you want a Berghaus Air 8, berghaus air8, or some other tent?

We purchased the Berghaus Air 8 tent at the beginning of As there are always at least 5 of us 2 adults and 3 kids , we decided that the Air 8 would give us the room and flexibility that we would need. Also, we felt that putting it up would be quite quick and easy we were right. Normally Mom and Dad sleep in one room on a double mattress and the 3 girls share the other room. If any other people come with us, we either make use of the room dividers or stick them in the middle section. The tent does go up quite quickly, in around minutes once the groundsheet has been pegged out. Something was bugging me whilst I was writing this post.

The middle section of the tent has excellent head height I'm 5'11" with lots of pockets for storage. The pods come in 2 large size areas which are seperated by a "wall" which can be removed. The separators hook at the top and bottom of each pod and are quite weak. My children ripped one the first time I used the tent so I would recommend removing them unless needed. Easy to inflate and deflate. I could do it on my own!

Overall not a stress free shopping experience and I'd think twice about buying again.

The Berghaus Air 8 Inflatable Family Tent has a spacious interior with 5 rooms, solid windows, excellent ventilation, and plenty of storage space. This is a tunnel-shaped building with two doors and two solid windows. One of the doors has a small brim supported by a loop, providing a dry entry point. Both doors are double-layered, with an inner mesh layer for ventilation and two additional windows. There are also four inner doors with mesh sections on the upper portion, as shown below. Storage pouches can also be seen on the inner wall between these two doors. One of the inner shutters on the solid windows can be seen below. You can lower it to half its original height and secure it with toggles or entirely close it for privacy.

The top image shows the middle section as being smaller than the bedrooms. The bottom image is more accurate because that middle section is a nice large xcm, which is larger than the bedrooms and gives is plenty of room for spending time together comfortably in the evenings. W hat we like most about this tent;.

There are no fiddly poles to speak of, just robust inflatable air beams which take minutes to blow up and are just as quick to deflate.
