MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is set in the year in a galaxy where the human race has expanded beyond its borders to conquer thousands of other systems. The player is a Mercenary who is attempting to revive the once-vibrant family business. They will be the pilot of a BattleMech, raining havoc upon their enemies. With more than 50 Mechs to choose from, players will find that no two Mechs are created equally in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. With several options to choose from, including Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault, they each offer their own unique benefits.

It also has jump jets, double heatsinks, and best of all, ECM. The benefits ECM brings to every mercenary company are many, degrading your enemy's aim and preventing them from targeting the mech that's jamming enemy sensors.
It features a long-range missile launcher and a long-range laser. The Spider Anansi offers twin AMS to keep it safe from enemy missiles and just enough firepower to out-fight other light mechs without too much trouble.
