Players have visited many different battlegrounds over the years with the Total War series. The collections of various campaigns and historical battles can easily take hours for the player to sift through on their way to ultimate victory.
Looking for something that will fully immerse me into the game. Ancient Empires is recently released and amazing! Other than that, you'll be happy with Fall of Eagles, and maybe a few others. What makes Ancient Empires so good? Complete economy and building overhaul. Diplomacy seems to matter as well. Those are off the top of my head for Ancient Empires.

After a while a demonic force spawns in the North and acts as a end game horde faction to fight against. Fans of the show, as well as the books, will find there's plenty of fun to be had with Westeros: Total War. Divide et Impera, listed above, uses a similar system for its character overhaul. The scope of the game is rather broad and there's not a whole lot of attention given to individual events.
