Remember you don't need to kill all the enemies, only last 4 rounds, which is very easy to do with this strategy as you near completely lock down the field. I had a glitch where the next step was to find Oliver in the Shadowed battlefield, but for some reason the objective kept telling me to talk to Halsin at camp and it never went more forward.
