Tears have a chance to fire a fungus tear that sticks to enemies. It grows rapidly in size then explodes into a gas cloud that damages nearby enemies. When the explosion happens, more homing fungus tears fire out in random directions.

Items are an integral part of the gameplay of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. They modify Isaac's attributes , grant or modify tear effects , and much more. Items are classified into several distinct types and groups. Some items are passive, which add an effect permanently to Isaac, while others only activate when used. Hey guys I wanted to share something I made a few days ago. I went through the entire source code for each item, so id say its pretty accurate as it is. Currently you can toggle items, trinkets and cards and use the search bar to filter items based on their descriptions or names. If you type 'damage up' in the search bar it will show you all items which increase damage. Choose two items and it will display a description about how those two items interact with each other. EDIT 2: Added a damage calculator so you can see exactly how much damage each item gives you.

Picking up this item as well as 2 other fly-type items will allow you to transform into Lord of the Flies. When revived, the green mushroom that follows Isaac will disappear and he will respawn with the same amount of red heart containers at full health. The tears spawned from Tammy's Head retain tear effects of Isaac's tears, such as poison or homing. Synergizes extremely well with Brimstone due to how the damage from both items is calculated when combined. Causes an explosion near Isaac which takes away half a heart and does 40 damage all enemies in close proximity. A poison bomb which can be thrown and leaves a poison effect on any enemies within the blast radius.

Eden's Soul. Greatly reduce Isaac's size, to an extent where some enemy tears will now travel straight over him without dealing damage if they are high off the ground. Double tapping the fire button launches it forward, causing it to reroll the first monster, trinket, or pickup it hits. Reveals adjacent rooms up to 2 rooms away, this includes revealing if you're next to a Secret Room or Super Secret Rooms. Unlock this item by completing every post-it note for every character, including the Tainted characters. Gives Isaac a random tear effect every few seconds. Allows entrance into Chest. At the beginning of each new floor, this item will stab Isaac and reduce your red health down as much as it can without killing you. This essentially means you are sacrificing your heart drops for a higher chance of all other pickups. In Afterbirth this item also appears in the Gold Chest item pool. As Azazel they fire brimstone and as The Forgotten they use a bone club.
