By Zapha , February 24, in General Discussion. When I was on Valguero there was a black pearl node reachable only with scuba gear. Now I'm playing on The Island and have really problems to get them. I even think about a short trip to Valguero because of this. Afaik they can drop from 4 fish dinos according to the wiki. The Alpha Mossad would drop but too strong for me atm. I checked spawn regions of the other three but no success. What's with caves? Are there cave spots with those who drop black pearls? Sadly the island is a pain to get black pearls. Easier to just grab them from ragnarok, valguero or even aberration. I've got black pearl gacha on pve official, if ya were to come to my server I could set em so you coud convert stone to blk p. On the island, if you want black pearl, otter is good for black pearl take some time. If you want more, would say , kill eurypterids with a mosasaur it's faster with it large aoe.

Basically I have a fear of water and the poor visibility doesn't help. Does anyone know an easier way for me to get black pearls or make the water more clear so i could at least see if a mosasaur is coming straight at me? You can try fishing with a high rod and hope for occasional 2 BPs. But good luck getting them without killing Alpha Mosas or Alpha Squids. Killing alpha mosas is so difficult unless you spend lots of time taming high level mosas or squids. I may have to buy scorched earth just to get black pearls from death worms and transfer them over. Plus the desert is so bright during the day and deathworms are annoying to hunt.
