An Amber Alert has been activated for two Surrey children, last seen with their mother in Kelowna and there is reason to believe the kids are at risk, say the RCMP.
RCMP say charges have now been laid against Verity Bolton, along with her boyfriend, after being discovered on Saturday as part of a wide-sweeping Amber Alert which lasted close to two weeks. Mounties confirmed the group, including the two children, Verity Bolton, her boyfriend Abraxas Glazov, along with her year old father, were located on Saturday evening just outside Edson, Alberta, about kilometers west of Edmonton. Police believe the group had been at the rural property since July 18th, one day before the Amber Alert was issued by police. Her boyfriend, year-old Abraxas Scherbing-Glazov, is facing two counts of Abduction of a person under the age of Verity Bolton and Abraxas Glazov remain in custody in Alberta awaiting their next court appearance.
