For most of the drama, our OTP spent their time and energies getting over their own exes, while also forming a support group of two. Aside from unending scenes of needless humiliation for the heroine, the drama mostly focused on how Bora makes peace with her break up and realises that her relationship had never been perfect. The story so far had two main conflicts: Our main leads needed to accept that their past relationships were wrong for them, and that they had a part to play in why those relationships went wrong. With both these threads neatly tied up by episode 10, all we had left was to have the two give in to the feelings brewing between them and give us a neat happy ending. Easily done in another 2 episodes.

Even though the writing is super messy and they make the characters say some really hum doubtful stuff at times, I do want to thank True to love for giving me a couple THAT good I miss Suhyeok and Bora! It is a pity that the show isnt very popular, i didn't enjoy the side couples but i really liked the main couple, the actors have great chemistry! I totally agree, Bora and Suhyeok are such a lovely couple, I enjoyed their dynamics a lot and especially their revenge on Bora's ex. However, Bora's bestie and her hubby annoyed me so much, I even rooted for their divorce Why she settled for someone who treats her so poorly when she's obviously competent enough to live happily on her own is beyond me. And the little sister and her life choices are so random and chaotic, but I guess it's kind of in character since she's so young All in all, the show is pretty realistic and funny too. I think the whole team did a great job, especially the screenwriter and I'm always super critical of screenwriters. I don't know what I want in the last episode but I kind of don't want Bora and Suhyeok to end up tgt now. They started off on the wrong foot and they're lowkey not compatible. But I have come to terms with the fact that I am probably not the target audience of this drama, so this is where I respectfully bow out. The good news is that for the first time in forever, Soo-hyuk is being honest with his feelings, and as he tells Yu-ri, he plans to keep doing that going forward.
