We love the look and ride of these classic Revenge 19s. Used exclusively by a western New York owner on Lake Erie for salmon fishing, this Revenge has been extremely well-maintained. The Revenge 19 was introduced by Boston Whaler in and produced through the model year. She has never spent a night in the water, was always trailered inside when not in use, and was last registered in in barn storage for 31 years! The Revenge 19 is designed for all facets of water activity.
Boston Whaler is an American boat manufacturer. Boston Whalers were originally produced in Massachusetts , hence the name, but today are manufactured in Edgewater, Florida. Richard "Dick" Fisher graduated from Harvard University in He ran a company building small, lightweight boats out of balsa wood. He designed a rowboat and got the materials to build it, but he never completed it. In the s, polyurethane foam, a stiff, lightweight, buoyant material, was invented. Fisher imagined it as a replacement for the lightweight balsa used in small boat construction, and in he constructed a small sailing dinghy filled with the foam, with a design similar to the Sunfish. He showed the finished product to his friend, naval architect C.

In , these were called the Revenge 22 and this name was shown on the side of the cabin. One of my reasons for detailing it the way I am. My yami 2 stroke is one thirsty moter. The boat is so buoyant that water never got above the bilge area while moored. And, of course, the wave height is always a factor. I have owned mine for 10 years. I've been in Alaska for years and would not buy a center console. It has a very low tramsom which is nice if you are a diver. I love my revenge and I own it outright. The transom parts isn't that big of an issue to me.
