Steak experiences are a thing! We were a party of 6 so a few of us to get around. This was an interesting choice for me as I know very few places can cooked calamari without it being used as a hair band. This was good and delivered crunchy crispy battered calamari pieces that were soft. Rich and gooey, and a very handsome serving. Prawns were a decent size, cooked well with large chunks of avo. Each main comes with a choice of a lettuce wedge. Not a dish for me, but I get it! Lettuce is freshly cut, nice palate cleanser and adds a good cold crisp crunch. You can choose from a few sauces to cover your lettuce wedge - we had. There is no way you are going to be hungry after this. We did however demolish the entire steak and sides as it was too delicious not too. This came with a crispy potato cake, chips and sauces too. The lobster tail was smothered in garlic and delivered juicy and succulent to our table. The Malbec went down a treat and rounded off this meal perfectly.
Cost: A table for 3 adults and a child, it was c. Prawns were a decent size, butchers block miller and carter, cooked well with large chunks of avo. Given that eating steak can be controversial — watch the comments stack up below this review online; warm your hands on their righteous anger; join in, if you have the stamina — it would be hugely dispiriting if steak houses were killing the animals twice.

Keep Up The Great Work. The service provided by Sue was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble with the bar staff and the food was excellent. Thank you. We will definately be back. Great service from Sue today. Food was good and came out quickly. Always great with allergies which is especially important. On this visit Tara served us and the service was fantastic. We hope to see you soon!

Had the butchers block, the food was incredible. Best meal we have had!! Our waitress Terri was an absolute delight, she explained the different cuts and where to start as it was a tasting experience, so well mannered and polite. Service from Terri was great. Food was lovely as usual.

The sirloin is recommended medium rare. Once again, not disappointed. It was more than enough meat for us. Cara opted for the kids nachos which she found okay, but preferred eating the calamari and scallops. The Malbec went down a treat and rounded off this meal perfectly. The homelessness charity Caring in Bristol has joined forces with a group of local chefs for its Caring At Christmas initiative, a pop-up shelter across the festive period for people living on the streets. There are the standard cuts — sirloin, rib-eye, rump and fillet — in imperial weights, presumably to give it a big old American steakhouse vibe. Not a dish for me, but I get it! There are also troubling recommendations that both the rib-eye and rump should be served medium. The service was friendly and attentive. This was good and delivered crunchy crispy battered calamari pieces that were soft.
