Some mechanics were designed with a complete party in mind, so they end up being quite unforgiving when attempting the fight alone and might just kill you instantly.

Some mechanics haven't been adjusted for a solo player so they are impossible for most classes. G'huun comes to mind. There's likely some misunderstanding on how the buff works. It's not 2 expansions later they add a damage buff, that was used to compensate for scaling. Each expansion, players get around 5x strong, so 2 expansions later you're 25x stronger by default. This makes it doable but not trivial. This is silly and extremely revisionist. Plans to allow players to solo BFA raids? They plan on doing a pass on mechanics for BFA raids before Dragonflight is done. I don't think THEY understand how it works.

Guessing the mechanics are not solo able yet? You need bare minimum 3 people, one of whom is a healer spec capable of dispelling. Even though I could take no action myself, my pets still eventually killed the boss and we were able to finish that way. Even x damage would solve most problems with soloing BFA content. A bunch particularly Mythic has mechanics that make soloing either really difficult or straight out impossible. Mechanics should basically be removed from legacy content. You can get in these vehicle things, which might help but honestly I have zero interest in figuring that out. I just wait it out. Yeah my friend blood dk and I demo lock were able to do that one on mythic a couple patches ago. I forget if I used Imp dispel or just popped everything before the silence hit and let my pets kill it.
