Przedsięwzięcie przewiduje cykl pięciu międzynarodowych pre- zentacji artystycznych, przygotowywanych każdorazowo wedle. Za- proponowano formułę zakładającą współpracę kuratorów, tak by mieli możliwość, wraz zaproszonymi przez siebie artystami, współtworzyć ostateczny kształt projektu. Wszyscy odnoszą się przez pryzmat sztuki współczesnej do tradycji, mitów, ale i ste- reotypów tego regionu, nie zamykając się przy tym na współ- czesne konteksty towarzyszące nam wszystkim. Ta artystyczna i ideowa konfrontacja wynikająca z różnych perspektyw histo- rycznych oraz aktualnych nurtów w sztuce pozwala zarówno na reinterpretację cesarsko-królewskich tradycji, ale i naświetla obecne problemy nurtujące poszczególne narody. Tego rodzaju ujęcie projektu zakłada oczywiście pewną proce- sualność i organiczny charakter całego przedsięwzięcia, które merytorycznie i organizacyjnie jest stale żywe.
