Hey everyone! So this is a little bit of a throwback to Halloween this year, I made Ethan a Jurassic Park jeep to go with his adorable little T-rex costume. It felt daunting trying to figure it out on my own, but in the end I was pretty happy with the outcome! When I was looking up ideas on how to make it I found a few images but literally no one explained anything, at all. Or if you happen to have large boxes without all the writing, all the better. Then I cut the other box to fit in and create the hood and front, taping it together with your duct tape. The cardboard cake circles became the wheels and I cute smaller circles out for the centers. I printed out the Jurassic park logo and glued that to the sides. I taped off the areas to make the red stripes and used the grey duct tape for the numbers. I cut out the middle of the windshield with a box cutter. I would have done that but I ran out of time! I cut long, rounded rectangular shapes for a grate on the front and square pieces from the leftover cardboard box for the headlights and painted them gold. I also cut a long piece of cardboard for the front and back bumpers and covered it in black duct tape. Lastly was a print out of the license plate! I actually had a lot of fun creating this and Ethan had a great time playing with it after Halloween!
