This week we're dropping a sneak peek at our favorite ARK2 tiny-armed, carno ark, horned stomper in the form of the Carnotaurus! Carno ark, it's technically the only creature with all of those characteristics combined but the point is - we love our fresh iteration of the Carno and hope you do too! Common Rare Untameable Cave. The Alpha Carnotaurus is a bigger, stronger version of the Carnotaurus. In addition to their own strength, they also buff the damage and resistance of any nearby wild carnivores. They pose a significant threat to any players who aren't fully prepared to encounter one. Alpha Creatures cannot be knocked out. They also frequently drop recipes, high-quality weapons and armor, and various other items. Alpha Carnos do not drop normal raw meat when harvested. Instead, they give very large quantities of Raw Prime Meat. Alpha Carnotaurus are extremely aggressive and attack players and dinos on sight. The horns of the Carnotaurus seem to be used more for fighting rivals than actual hunting. This doesn't mean the horns aren't dangerous, though. They can still eviscerate larger prey. Carnotaurus is one of the smaller and more compact of the large predators.

Carno Eggs are randomly dropped by Carnos. After two Carnos mate , the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Carno. Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Carnos will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor. A Carno is swift enough that a player on foot will have trouble escaping, and is strong enough to overpower most players as well.
