Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia The release of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in began a new subseries within the franchise, which we all know as "Metroidvanias".

Naturally, things aren't quite what they seem, and the mid-game plot twist can be easily predicted in the opening stages of the game.
