There is a little hidden gem in Liverpool, that is fast becoming my new favourite. I have been twice to Chamber 36, and both times I have found the service, the food and the atmosphere to be exceptional. Not only does the menu have a great selection of classic chinese dishes, there is something for everyone. As a vegetarian, I was happy with the selection offered, particularly the small plates they offer. My fondness for Chamber 36 is also due to fact that they also offer a great Two Course special, which is perfect for lunch or dinner. This offer is available until 6pm with a range of options to choose from. I do not own.

We took advantage of the January half-price offer on vegan food and got heaps of delicious starters as well as our favourite meat dishes. The food was great, service quick and friendly and the bill surprisingly low for a marvelous meal. Seemingly the chaps, seeking their own enlightenment, find that once they are ensconced in said numbered chamber they can wallow in the unity of body, mind and spirit; having successfully passed through the previous 35 chambers that contain an assortment of tricky tasks to be tackled before harmony, so to speak, saves the day.
