Cia is an antagonist of Hyrule Warriors. Known as the Dark Sorceress, she once watched over the three pieces of the Triforce. She is selfish, provocative, and aggressive, and wants Link to herself. She makes a deal with Volga to give him strength and gave Wizzro his sorcerer form. After they fight through her forces, including Volga and Manhandla , she ambushes their commanders, stealing pieces of the Triforce from Link and Sheik. Combining the pieces with the Triforce of Power in her possession, Cia opens the Gate of Souls , connecting it to three different worlds and freeing fragments of an evil spirit to empower herself.

In the version 1. She is a powerful sorceress who wages war over the land of Hyrule in the aim to conquer it. She also harbors serious affections for Link , and desires to claim him as well. In battle, Cia is primarily a spell-caster of dark magic. Her Weapon, the Scepter , which also doubles as a whip, allows her to conjure powerful magical attacks. Her battle style primarily relies on area coverage and long-range over brute force. Her Charge attack allows her to imbue her attacks with the Dark Element and makes her resistant to flinching. Her initial combo attack can hit an incredibly wide area that allows her to build her Special meter quickly.
