This article has been verified for the current version 1. Decisions are unique actions a landed character who is at least Count can take. Most decisions are unavailable if the character has the Incapable trait. Decisions are not shown unless the character meets one of the more specific requirements. Major decisions leave a permanent mark on the world and notify all rulers which may be affected by the decision. The following decisions will change the realm government. All vassals will embrace the new government too and all holdings will be converted. Head of faith decisions are used to create a head of faith title. They are only available if the character's faith has a head of faith but the title is currently destroyed. The following decisions are only available to rulers who have completed a legend. None of them have any cost but they can only be used again if another legend is completed.

This article has been verified for the current version 1. A struggle is a long-term conflict that that affects every character present in a region and has a very large number of effects. A struggle goes through multiple phases that change 3 months after sufficient Catalysts, actions that push the struggle towards the next phase, take place. All characters will be considered Involved, Interloper or Uninvolved in a struggle, which determines how much they can influence it and how much they can be influenced by it. Ending a struggle will give a Heroic legend seed. In addition the following faiths and cultures will always be involved:. The Iberian Struggle goes through four cyclic phases and always starts in the Opportunity phase. The Iberian Struggle can be ended in three ways by independent rulers that are Involved. Each ending will grant the dynasty that ended the struggle Renown. Alternatively an Interloper character may end the struggle by taking the Iberian Foothold decision.
