This is my fifth year making my own printable planner. This one is my favorite by far. You can choose depending on how you want it to look and how much ink you want to use. I included the full monthly calendar at the beginning of each month so it could be printed back-to-back with the first week. I also added a note page to each month that required it to have an even number of pages. I started the weeks with Monday instead of Sunday, because I like having the weekend together on the page.

I like to print the pages on 32 lb printer paper. I used the same binder for the first five years of making these, so I can tell you it holds up well. Two years ago I replaced it with this binder though, because the cover folds all the way to the back, so I can just have one page facing up at a time. It saved a little space on my desk. I like to have dividers between the months, and this is an update to the version I used for years:. I use a serrated tracing wheel to make a perforated line so they can be separated. Be sure to punch the holes on the Menu side, so that can stay in your planner while you take the Shopping List side with you to the store or computer.
