We accept pets from citizens, not only in Huntsville, but rural Madison County as well. As you might imagine, this is a HUGE load on us as we work to combat the problem with unwanted pet overpopulation. Currently, we take in over 6, dogs, cats, rabbits and more each and every year. Shelter staff and volunteers work tirelessly on and off the clock to save as many of these animals as possible but we can not do it alone. We need your help! Our friendly shelter staff is available 6 days a week to help you with your pet adoption needs. We kindly ask that you plan to have your adoption completed 30 minutes prior to closing as our clerks need that time to close out paperwork for the day. Adoption fees range in price depending on what pet license option you choose if you live in the City of Huntsville. Should you have a question regarding the adoption fees on a particular animal, please call or come by the shelter with the animal ID for the one you are inquiring about and someone would be glad to assist you. We have two petting rooms and three outdoor play yards.

He is into a lot of different things. There's a Woodcraft store a couple of hours north of here in Tennessee, but I'd much prefer to shop locally. Rugby Architectual Building Supply or something like that in Decatur. Most sawyers I have met do it on the side, or in retirement and don't keep regular hours but I have enjoyed working with them and using wood that you just can't find anywhere else.
