April 28th, I bought a brand new XPS 15 in December after about 5 weeks in I was having issues with the display, being an IT technician myself I knew the problem lay with the screen assembly and it needed to be replaced. I figured no problem, call DELL tech support and get a tech guy to come out and replace it, one of the reasons I always went with DELL was because of their excellent customer service. It is now April, and since then the screen has died completely, DELL won't honour the warranty and pawn me off to Currys. Even after going through the warranty agreement, there is no part that official suppliers of DELL are responsible for repairs. DELL used to mean quality and excellent customer support, now it seems neither are the case. Where previously I always bought my DELL from official suppliers and when there was an issue, a technician was sent out to repair or replace under warranty now it does not seem to be the case, you may very well be pawned off like me, just so disappointed.
