Videos can be super helpful when trying to extract in EFT as it can be very confusing if you are new to a map. Customs extractions

Customs is a location in Escape from Tarkov. It is the second map that was added to the game. A large area of industrial park land situated adjacent to the factory zone. The area houses a customs terminal, fuel storage facilities, offices, and dorms, as well as a variety of other infrastructure and buildings. The Dorms are two buildings located in the southernmost area of the map. The eastern building is three stories tall while the western building is two stories tall. Each structure boasts a front entrance and a fire escape at each end with doorways leading to each floor some of which are blocked or permanently locked. These dorms are the location of many quests and unlockable rooms. Construction is a two story concrete frame of a building. This structure has a wide view of the river crossings and bridge.

From spawns and to extracts, to good loot spots and areas where enemies are likely to be, understanding the locations and points of interest is one of the most critical parts of playing Escape From Tarkov.

Activate lever in Warehouse 4. There will be green flares to signal that the extract is available and will require you to go inside the building and down some stairs in the back to reach your evac point. As a PMC, this can be a risky extraction to use as it is right in the line of sight of a SCAV sniper on top of the warehouse to the East of the extraction. One of the coolest looking extractions on Customs is Smugglers Boat, you literally are loading onto a little boat to escape, how sick is that. Be aware that each player needs to pay the full sum. The third extract is in the southeast corner of the map and is only available if you spawn on the east. There are a few random loot spawns inside of the gas station, make sure you check before you extract. Knowing the Customs map spawns is important because it informs your immediate decision making; do you go for nearby PMC spawns in the hope of grabbing a quick kill, rush the loot spots, or try and track down the boss quickly? Factory emergency exit key. Or, a common tactic is to cover the most ground early in the game so you can hit all of the loot spots around this extraction right before it is time to extract. He can sometimes roam out from these locations to the Military checkpoint, or the radio tower on the hill. The maps in EfT can be daunting, with lots of information to learn in order to effectively make your way through a raid. Other players will likely be gunning for this loot, so be ready for heavy fire. It is one of the closest extractions to Dorms and it is smack-dab in the center of the map.
