If you draw the weapon, everyone will become hostile immediately. When you reach the door, Placide will confront you. If you want to fight the Voodoo boys, a much better choice is to side with the NetWatch agent in the movie theather. There are no far-reaching consequences, no matter what you choose. After you complete the Transmission quest in Cyberpunk 2. You should kill Brigitte as soon as you get the chance in Cyberpunk 2. After you know everything about their plans you can draw your weapon and there is no better time. The Voodoo Boys already tried to kill you once and they screwed you over a second time for the Blackwall access. In my playthrough, I found it much better to just get rid of them and rid myself of Netrunners that could cause trouble later down the line. If Brigitte and her team die, then you can kill Placide as well. When everyone is taken care of below the chapel, you can loot everything they have and forget about the dangers of more Netrunners looking to enter the Blackwall. Placide even has a great jacket that is ripe for the taking. For those of you who really want to spare Brigitte in Cyberpunk, there are really no repercussions. However, there is no reward in it either.

Transmission is the final mission in the Automatic Love questline. When the walkthrough diverges you'll find a link that will get you to the section of the walkthrough for your choice. To start this mission, return to the the hotel to talk with Placide. You'll do this regardless of your choice in I Walk the Line. Your interaction with him varies based on your decision, though.
