Similarly, Daffy Duck and Joker don't at all seem like a good fit.

.

Pros: Most of the stories tend to range from average to above average. The Bugs Bunny story is hilarious and full of meta comedy. The Batman story is an incredible comic and nearly makes the collection worth it on its own. Overall: This is a solid collection of comics where nearly every story ends up being a remarkably entertaining adventure. The comics collected here all have the same wonderful level of humor that one would expect from Looney Tunes, allowing the stories to detail a way range of bizarre adventures. A few of the comics also have a surprising level of emotion and meaning, enough to rival many more mainstream works. All in all, anyone familiar with Looney Tunes characters should consider reading this collection.

Dc meets looney tunes vol 2

It was published on June 7, Clark and Lois are wandering through Metropolis following up reports of a giant aircraft. Lois fancies a cup of coffee, but there is nothing around them except for an empty plot. A plot with a certain Mister Mxyzptlk , digging a hole, planting a coffee bean and then watering it. Back in Metropolis , the ground begins to shake and a huge coffee shop grows out of the ground. Mxy challenges Superman to the age old test, get him to say his name backwards. Mxy heads off to cause more trouble, and Clark gets changed. Back in Looney Tune Land, Yoyo the Do-Do a funny grey bird with an umbrella on his head interrupts Fudd and Bugs and explains that he used to trick people back in a place called Wackyland. He was forced to leave, however, due to condominiums being built there, and has used a dimensional transporter to travel to Looney Tune Land.

You know, if it existed. In this new helping of crossover tales, Catwoman finds herself embroiled in the endless battle between Sylvester and Tweety, and comes to the aid of her fellow cat. ISBN: Nothing of much interest happens, although there are some interesting cameos along the way. I read this book as individual comic book issues. By using tfaw. Too much over-the-top nonsense. When those lovable Looney Tunes invade the DC Universe and run amok, they'll find the only thing more dangerous than a falling anvil is a super-villain! Next up, Harley and Ivy meet Gossamer, and if you don't remember Gossamer, nor did I, though I recognised him the instant I saw him in his original look for the back-up story. And finally, Daffy Duck meets the Joker in a story which really captures how dethpicable Daffy can be, but could have been even better had a less nineties artist than Brett Booth drawn it. Gossamer's owner eventually comes to reclaim him and there's a brief struggle, but this one remains lighthearted throughout and didn't leave me feeling bad when it was over.

While this issue does contain probably my single favorite moment from all four issues Daffy Duck trolling Lex Luthor on social media is comedy gold the rest of it, and especially the ending just leave a bad taste in the mouth. Becoming a henchman for The Joker is no laughing matter, but can Daffy Duck avoid running afoul of the Clown Prince of Crime long enough to cook his goose? When those lovable Looney Tunes invade the DC Universe and run amok, they'll find the only thing more dangerous than a falling anvil is a super-villain! Then, Harley discovers a mysterious crate washed up on Coney Island's shore and releases the big, hairy beast that is Gossamer. And then as a coda we get a more recognisably cartoon Porky trying to sell Acme products to a Lex gone Looney Tunes. Michael B Tager. Next up, Harley and Ivy meet Gossamer, and if you don't remember Gossamer, nor did I, though I recognised him the instant I saw him in his original look for the back-up story. A slapstick tale in the style of Batman: The Animated Series. A bunch of witches decide to hold a wager by pitting a house cat against a small bird. As part of the great DC flap, it was cancelled, presumably because it risked soiling those precious Warners properties by actually telling stories with them, rather than just churning out more nicely branded content in vaguely corporate shapes.
