To fix a Deep Wound in Project Zomboid, you will need to have a suture needle or a needle and thread. If you have with, fix the Deep Wound by going into the health tab and right-clicking on their wound. This will reveal the option to stitch up the Deep Wound. It's worth noting that it's better to have a suture needle above a needle and thread. Suture needles cause less pain than needles and threads and have a higher successful wound treatment rate. This success rate goes up even more if you has a suture needle holder in their inventory. It will take about one month in-game to fully heal, though some have quoted more or less around this time. In order to locate a suture needle or the holder, you will need to find and loot Medicine Cabinets. Inside these cabinets, you have the chance find the suture needle or a needle and thread.
