Deepak rajbhar
About my work Every painting is a whole new experience, a new finding.
Deepak Rajbhar was born in Kolkata, West Bengal in The use of colour is particularly remarkable, since he works on a monochromatic surface, where a field of colour is spread loosely but powerfully over the background. He takes special care to leave no trace of brushstrokes, giving a graphic look which leads us to believe that gestural intervention is minimal in his process. In that sense, his works have less to do with expressive evocations and are more concerned towards the overall effect of the colour field. The pigmentation, in all cases is free of gloss, and the matt effect he brings about gives an impression of a strong bind to the forms. The formal arrangement is closer to abstract diagrams in its appearance, but this diagram, too, is free of associations. It rather brings an impression of suspension in his works which, together with the graphic tension of colours, produce powerful imagery.

Mumbai: The police on Monday night arrested two men and are on the lookout for six more for allegedly killing a year-old man in Kandivali. The body of Deepak Rajbhar was found near Poisar on Monday morning with several stab wounds following which the police registered a case of murder and began scanning CCTV footage in the locality and also alerted the dog squad to identify the accused. Two accused, Sonu Choudhary 20 and Aditya Chaubey 21 , were subsequently arrested by the police. According to locals, Rajbhar was a police informer and had a fight with the accused and their accomplices 15 days ago over a parking issue. Shop windows and even mirrors of two-wheelers were broken. Tiwari further said that after the fight, Choudhary and his accomplices had threatened Rajbhar as he had alerted the police about the riot. In the wee hours of Sunday when Rajbhar was returning home after meeting friends in the area, he was surrounded by Choudhary and his accomplices. The gang stabbed Rajbhar and slit his throat to retain their stronghold over the area, the police said. Read this news in brief form.

Saturday: I work in two phases in my paintings: Initially I try to put up the momentary realizations and experiences of my subconscious self. They seem to have a life of their own, but for those who are interested in the deeper dimension of things, there are principles that determine the behaviour of elements. Man most of the times spoils the whole thing, and same is the case with my paintings, but the struggle, of striking a harmony, goes on and keeps me alive. The elements can be tamed, the elements ought to be tamed! Once the image becomes visible, I shift to the second phase of the process, which is more conscious. Like Man and nature herself. This may sound farfetched, but a careful study of the history of natural disasters and the events that preceded them will definitely be a shocking discovery to many. The elements earth, water, wind and fire appear to be random in the way they function. My account Register My account. Like carving out a character, although, I believe the character is already defined in the initial phase. If we look back in history, the first man Adam when he disobeyed the command of God, he caused the earth to stop yielding fruit effortlessly; now man had to work the ground and toil in order to have food. The elements can be tamed, the elements ought to be tamed! If man moves keeping the unchanging principles in mind, the elements in his immediate environment will favour and support those movements. He takes special care to leave no trace of brushstrokes, giving a graphic look which leads us to believe that gestural intervention is minimal in his process. The pigmentation, in all cases is free of gloss, and the matt effect he brings about gives an impression of a strong bind to the forms. Every stroke in the paintings of Deepak is a metaphor of the actual move of elements and the pictures are abstract representations of the resultant environments. Here I struggle meticulously to reach the image towards a deliberate stability. His work compels the viewer to ponder and decipher the abstract element of the elements. Deepak brings to light a dynamic that is so present yet so hidden, so powerful yet so quiet. I work in two phases in my paintings: Initially I try to put up the momentary realizations and experiences of my subconscious self. And this dialogue continues perpetually. This may sound farfetched, but a careful study of the history of natural disasters and the events that preceded them will definitely be a shocking discovery to many. Log in Forgot your password?
