The huge pizza oven not only provides the right aroma of the round delicacies, it also provides astonished looks of the guests. In the kitchen a proven team of cooks provides different specialities — excellent soups, meat and fish dishes and of course Italian classics such as lasagne and risotto complete the menu. Don Camillo restaurant was opened in by Umberto Tucceri. It was one of 3 restaurants in Hobart at the time. Needless to say it was a busy nightspot in Hobart, guests still speak of waiting in a line that snaked around the corner of Magnet Court and receiving a free glass of Limoncello while they waited for a table.
