Don t starve berry bush
I personally can't stand the fast spoilage time of juicy berries and the time they take to grow back, I prefer red berry bushes.
Twiggy Trees are subject to world regrowth and Grass Geckos have a chance of popping out of transplanted grass tufts, thus allowing you to obtain both variants in a single world, however, there's no such option for berry bushes so you either have one or the other. Maybe you get lucky a couple of the other variant down in the caves but so far in a day juicy berry world I've had no luck finding a single berry bush which is locking me out of the bush hat And I also really love using normal berry bushes to decorate my gardens. So I suggest a reliable or maybe even unreliable heck as long as it's possible to transform berry bushes into their other variant, perhaps something similar to the Lunar Experiment from Hallowed Nights which is able to turn objects into their lunar equivalents but instead a potion that is able to turn Juicy Berry Bushes into Berry Bushes, Grass Geckos into Grass Tufts and Twiggy Tree Saplings into Saplings. This would make it so you are able to obtain your preferred variant no matter what world you make after gathering enough resources to get ahold of these potions. Don't hold your breath. People on this forum crucified me for suggesting a way of obtaining juicy berries in a default world. It's a good idea to be able to have more bushes and more varieties in one world, but people on the forums hate the idea.

I've replanted 15 berry bushes and 10 twigs near my base, then fertilized them the bushes, I don't think the twigs needed it. None of them indicate they need more fertilization, yet no berries have grown. I planted them on the 10th day or so, I'm now on day 35 -- still no berries or twigs. I spent the entire winter hoping these bushes would help me out. Showing 1 - 15 of 54 comments. Originally posted by harkonian :. Svaigis View Profile View Posts. Berry Bushes are Plants commonly found in Grasslands and occasionally Forests. They can be harvested to receive 1 Berries , after which they will need from 3 to 5 Days to regrow Rain will reduce this time. Berry Bushes can be dug up with a Shovel and replanted in a new location. Doing this will require the bush to be fertilized before it will regrow any new Berries. If the player tries to dig up a Berry Bush without fertilizing it, it will result in 2 Twigs and the bush's destruction. Replanted Berry Bushes will only produce Berries for 3 to 5 harvests, after which they will require additional fertilizer. As the plant gets closer to this point, it will begin to show fewer berries in its branches.
Another option for you when it comes to food production in Don't Starve Together is the berry bush farm which will reward you with berries as well as Drumsticks if done correctly. The first thing you need to do when setting up your berry bush farm is count out how many pitchfork tiles you want it to be then set up a fence and build a small box in the middle similar to Pig Farms. The small box in the middle should have a gate for you to get in and out - just like the pig farm and like the picture you see on this page. How this farm works is pretty straight forward, Gobblers will come out of the berry bushes when you pick berries off of them. If it is during the day then the Gobbler will walk towards the Powdercake and get stuck on one of the walls that you put up. During the dusk or night the Gobbler will ignore the Powdercake and instead run into any other nearby bushes. What this means is you can only get Gobblers and Drumsticks by using this method during the day. One tip I can give you, if you are using Juicy Berry Bushes - you should space them out a little bit more. When you cram them together they can be difficult to harvest easily and by that I mean by holding down the space bar. Your character will harvest multiple bushes without picking up all the berries and Gobblers will run to those berries first a lot of the time.
